MIN.ADEOLUWA Releases Five-Track EP, ‘THE NAMES OF GOD’, Celebrating God’s Greatness, Power and Faithfulness
UK-based gospel artist MIN.ADEOLUWA has unveiled his latest five-track EP, ‘THE NAMES OF GOD’, a Scripture-inspired musical project celebrating the identity, greatness, power, and faithfulness of God. The collection takes listeners through different expressions of Christian worship, prayer, energetic praise, and thanksgiving, with each song highlighting a distinct aspect of God’s nature and His relationship with His people.
Known for creating music rooted in biblical truths, MIN.ADEOLUWA continues to draw inspiration from the Word of God, exploring how believers recognise, worship, and call upon the Lord in different circumstances. Although the EP features a variety of musical styles and expressions, its central message remains consistent: God is worthy of worship, trust, praise, and gratitude in every season of life.
The project opens with ‘Alpha and Omega’, featuring Brenique Adams. Inspired by Revelation 1:8, the worship song acknowledges God as the beginning and the end, the One who was, who is, and who is to come. Through this declaration, the song establishes the spiritual foundation of the EP, directing listeners to the eternal nature and sovereignty of God. It is followed by ‘Glorious God’, a song centred on the majesty, greatness, and splendour of the Almighty, further encouraging listeners to reflect on His unmatched power and glory.
The atmosphere then shifts from declarations of worship to heartfelt prayer with ‘4th Man in the Fire’. Inspired by the biblical account of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in Daniel 3, the song recalls the miraculous presence of God with the three Hebrew men in the fiery furnace. It serves as a reminder that God is able to sustain His people through difficult circumstances and remain present when they face trials. The track features Ms Debola, whose spoken prayer adds a reflective dimension to the song, emphasising faith, dependence on God, and confidence in His ability to intervene.
MIN.ADEOLUWA then introduces a vibrant expression of cultural praise with ‘Adonai’, a high-energy gyration song that reflects his Nigerian roots. Incorporating Yoruba, Igbo, and Hausa—the three major indigenous languages of Nigeria—the track celebrates God through diverse linguistic and cultural expressions. Its lively rhythm and energetic praise bring a distinctly Nigerian flavour to the EP, demonstrating how indigenous musical traditions can become powerful vehicles for celebrating God's greatness.
Interestingly, the artist concludes the project with ‘Ore Jésù Se’, featuring Evangelist Ojo Ade. The Yoruba thanksgiving song offers a meaningful close to the collection. After declaring God as Alpha and Omega, celebrating Him as the Glorious God, acknowledging His presence in the fire, and praising Him as Adonai, the project ends with gratitude for all He has done. The closing track reinforces the importance of thanksgiving as a response to God's faithfulness and serves as a fitting conclusion to the EP's central message.
The release also comes during a notable period in MIN.ADEOLUWA's music journey. The artist has achieved significant milestones on the Official UK Christian & Gospel Singles Chart. His single ‘THIS GOD’ spent three consecutive weeks at No. 1, while ‘Psalm 91’ also reached the top position. In addition, his collaboration with Ms Debola, ‘SOG (Song of Gratitude)’, secured the No. 1 spot on the chart.
With ‘THE NAMES OF GOD’, MIN.ADEOLUWA brings together his passion for Scripture, worship, and Nigerian musical heritage in a cohesive five-track project. From reflective worship and prayer to energetic indigenous praise and heartfelt thanksgiving, the EP offers listeners different ways to engage with the same enduring truth: God remains worthy of honour in every circumstance.
