Acclaimed songwriter and trumpeter Jumbo Aniebiet is excited to announce the release of his much-anticipated single, “Odogwu,” from his upcoming Pages project. This vibrant track features a powerful collaboration with internationally recognized Gospel artist Nosa and the soulful vocals of DC-based worship leader Sergine Quenum.
“Odogwu” is a lively anthem that celebrates Christ’s victory on the cross and the unshakable love of God. Inspired by Isaiah 42:13, the title is derived from the Igbo word meaning "warrior" or "royalty," and the song’s uplifting lyrics, soaring harmonies, triumphant trumpet solos, and grand arrangements are designed to inspire both joy and faith.
Jumbo expresses his excitement about the release, sharing that “Odogwu” — a term that signifies a King, a hero, or a champion — serves as a fitting tribute to the King of Kings for all He has done, is doing, and will continue to do.
The live performance video of “Odogwu,” featuring members of the Pages community, will premiere on YouTube.
